Drexler was with the team longer. Finished higher in MVP than Dame ever did. Made 2 finals appearances. And he wanted out literally for the same reason as Dame, but he wasn’t a dick about it.
Yes playoff success is a team achievement, but Drexler won twice as many playoffs series in a 3 year span than Dame did in an 11 year one.

This is not how I expected this off-season to go. Sure, I had a feeling that Dame would likely request a trade. But after years of being so loyal to us, I didn’t see him backstabbing us and having him and his agent tank his value.
I think Dames legacy as a blazer is going to be looked at poorly years from now.
