  1. Really looking forward to this new iteration of the Blazers. Scoot, Shae, and Simons are a great start. Blazers will be back in thick of things in two seasons.

  2. Whether people like it or not, Cronin has finally picked a path. I am really looking forward to seeing the young guys and what they can do. Going to be interesting seeing a more traditional backcourt as Scoot is far more of a classic set up PG. Also looking forward to seeing games in Vegas and Portland thst the offense consists of morr than 40 to 50 3pt shots and a little ball movement.

  3. Like I said. Scoot n Shaedon will terrorize the league. Can't wait to watch them tomorrow. 1st summer league game

  4. Another year, another Aaron Goodwin client gets paid by Portland. Such an awful team to deal with for him. I feel for Mr. Goodwin 😢

  5. Hope Cronin doesn’t get bullied into a deal by Dame, we’re rebuilding so just keep him till trade deadline when other teams get more desperate and if Dame pouts well let him sit on the bench to collect his checks. Sixers did it with Ben Simmons so not unheard of. Funny how once Butler got in Dames ear everything suddenly went way off brand for how he’s always talked and been about, going back on his own words is what irks me the most….”I don’t get superteam culture” “I’m not about ring chasing” “I ain’t gonna run from the grind” yep now doing all of those. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  6. Better help came in with the perfect timing for all the depressed blazers fans facing the fact that lillard is going to be playing for a different team next season🥲

  7. Just to clear the air: Blazer podcasts and media of other types have been mostly blisteringly negative about Joe Cronin and Blazer management, no matter what they've done. You guys have pretty much followed suit, right? From trading all the expensive players in Olshey's (and Dame's) all vet roster to clear space to change the dynamic of the team to "lying" about "building around Dame," it's gotten pretty vicious, from Jason Quick at The Athletic through the rest of the media. And Blazer fans on Blazer's Edge and every other Blazer site and podcast have been awful, grotesque even. Whether Cronin was finding assets to trade for Dame's compatible star (a difficult assignment) or to start over without Dame (a sad assignment), the moves he made would have fit either scenario. No over-the-top reactions were necessary.

Dame opted out. That's fine. It frees up a bunch of space. Maybe they'll get something useful for him in trade. But the moves (and a little luck) allowed the Blazers to start over. I liked your expression of excitement over a new edition of the Blazers led by Scoot and Shae. And without the process that Cronin followed, we wouldn't have that right now. Which you're right: It's going to be fun, if we the fans let it.

  8. I think playing games is important for Sharpe..he just hasn't played that many in his life….he's going to play pickup games if he doesn't play summer league anyway.
