    Build the statue now.

    Edit: get fucked Goodwin

Good move, easy match. $11M is bench player money now, and that’s a good size contract to extend and/or trade down the line when we need to make moves to complement a more finished roster around Scoot and Shae.

Now take to the deadline to actually put pen to paper to lock up the Mavs

  4. FakeFan07

Thank god, a really good defender with some years in the league is needed for our young guys

Goodwin punching the air right now

  6. Vfbcollins

Thank goodness. I was worried we were in for a Process like rebuild. Hopefully it’s just a Crocess like rebuild.

  7. MookieV

Fits the timeline, on a relatively team-friendly contract, W.

  8. RussellMyJimmys

His smile alone is worth 33 million dollars.

Woohoo! The better half of the RedBulle remains a Blazer!

Someone break it down for me. If we match then what happens? Does Matisse get to choose or how does it work

Look at that smile. Love me some Tisse!

I like this. Small contract and he’s a really good defender

Lol. Easy match. Thank you Cuban for not offering something crazy.

    And fuck you Goodwin.

Congrats, Tisse! Hope he keeps improving and does great back in Northwest

So is the way this went down indicative that Tisse doesn’t want to be here, or is this just navigating getting the best deal?

  17. I get that this is the contract for a bench player, but can you be 100% sure he’ll be earning rotation minutes at the 2/3?

If you have 100 minutes at the 2/3 positions, Sharpe gets 35, Simons gets 20 (+15 at PG), Grant gets 20 (+15 at PF).

Thuybulle, Murray and Little all fighting for the last 25 minutes and they’re all under contract for the next few years, someone is the odd man out. If Grant and Simons can’t play out of position that becomes even tighter.

And if your answer is to trade Little, we can’t keep expecting to make these small for big trades, nobody is trading a rotation level PF/C for Nas.

Nice! I loved how he played last season

Well liked glue guy, elite defender, shooting upside and we just locked him in for 3 years of his prime at a really reasonable rate. This is a good deal

  20. eMF_DOOM

Could we hypothetically flip him at the trade deadline? Or is that against rules?

I love this. To anyone worried that it might be an overpay.., we paid Meyers Leonard $11m/yr at one point too. It’ll be okay!
