Me two years ago feels vindicated.
So many weird hypebeast fans are glossing over the fact that he got waived by one of the worst teams in the league. Also so many people calling him a center is hilarious.

I mean I legit couldn’t care less lol he hasn’t been on the nuggets in about 2 years now so…
The amount of slack you get when you’re 7’ is insane. The poor play making, passing, shooting, lack of a post game, and terrible IQ in all of those same categories yet he’s still in the league. If this guy was even 6’10 he’d be gone 2 years ago.
I wonder how much of the delta between Wemby and Bol is simply motivation. Definitely not all of it, but I would guess 50% of the variance here is probably owed to Bol just not giving a crap. He could have had a career if he cared to.

He was waived for the fact that his only “quality” is that he is tall. That’s it. None of the other factors, like ball handling, defense, shooting, passing, bbiq, or anything else is at an NBA level. Plain and simple.
I honestly don’t like piling on the dude but he was such a divisive player on this sub for so long I do feel vindicated to an extent to see that he is what a lot of people saw him as.
So many of the mistakes shown here are just insanely low IQ or selfish decisions made by him for absolutely no reason. That along with mediocre at best defensive effort is what so many people saw in him. Idk if it’s an attitude thing or if he just couldn’t accept his role with the teams he’s on but hopefully this finals humbles him to an extent that tries to progress
