Dame Lillard is “amazed” by “how people could know so much and so little at the same time”

It seems like Dame is feeling frustrated by the media reporting on his trade requests.

Hadnt gotten enough attention in a few hours

I don’t understand why he can’t just go out like Beal. Beal kept/keeps a low profile and isn’t part of news cycles that rile people and/or making cryptic social media posts.

Turning into the biggest NBA villain slowly.

Man this has been one hell of a heel turn from Mr. Lillard and I love it

Dame trying to embrace the struggle of joining an NBA finals team

    You’re being pretty annoying, Damian.

I mean your agent is the one straight up telling everyone everything haha. There’s no lines to read between, Dame. He’s just laying it all out there for everyone pretty blatantly.

Long time Blazer fan and I love Dame but the thing I WONT miss the most is his cryptic ass Riddler tweets, lol.

  9. He only has himself to blame here. He’s the one who gave this public face to “I want to be here, I want to be loyal, I want to see what happens in free agency” up until the very moment he did a 180.

Dame has always been sensitive to criticism but playing in Portland and being the “team guy” and a stand up guy throughout the years meant he mostly avoided said criticism on a national scale. Now he’s feeling scrutiny, and he can’t deal with it. He and his representation are embarrassing themselves but it makes sense now why Aaron Goodwin reps him. Two peas in a pod.

It would certainly help if Dame could enlighten the fans with the details about his wishes and plans, instead of zen-like metaphors.

He’s totally going to pull a KD and not understand why everyone’s turned in him

We know all we need to know. You have no desire to play outside of Miami and the Blazers also 1000% control where you go and if they’re smart they take the best package whether it makes Dame happy or not.

Dame rep going down the drain

    Luv to see it

I mean I guess they’re doing something right getting all these clicks out of a trade request and he’s not even like a top 5 player in the league.

You’d think it was LeBron or KD at this rate

Honestly he should probably tell his agent to shut up. The report of his agent warning other teams not to trade for Dame was moronic.

  17. Yup, knew it. The more time that passes, even if he gets traded, the more he’ll burn his own image by continuing to say delusional shit with no self-awareness. He’ll probably retire and reflect back on this in podcasts/interviews and talk about how he was still loyal to the end and “ya’ll just don’t understand” and “the media is trying to portray it like something it ain’t”.

Bro has Chris Haynes as his dedicated reporter and is complaining about the media

Damn, Dame revealed himself to be one of the biggest divas in the NBA. Pretty wack to see.

As a Blazer fan I’m just glad I don’t have to pretend to like his rapping anymore

Funny thing is 90% of the fans supported Dame requesting a trade because it is 100% understandable. Even with his entire loyalty BS.

However, him requesting a trade to ONE team is such BS. It makes it seem like his intention was the Heat all along and he just signed with the Blazers to get that supermax. Even AD didn’t request a trade to just one team he initially gave a list of 4.

He cares about his image so much but now it just seems like that’s all it is. He’s just as insecure as KD when it comes to what people think but at least KD didn’t spend his entire career telling people how loyal he is.
