    I'm an every day-er who is just starting to comment. I would trade for Dame if he had 3 years on his deal and not 4. If he had 3 years he would match up with our expiring contracts of Jordan Clarkson, John Collins, and Collin Sexton in 2 years. Plus we have three 1st round picks in 2025. 2025-26 is the year we need to start trying to compete for a title!

    To make salary work Jazz can offer THT, KO and Sexton (Raps are looking for a point guard) and a pick. Its a yes by me. Jazz can use Collins in a future trade and keep Taylor. Kessler, Lauri and Siakam is an excelent frontcourt

    Seems like if we are giving up two players and two or three picks, we would want to wait until a guard comes up. Doncic or Jaylen Brown seems like the ones. If Dallas can't figure it out and Doncic asks out, I'm going: Sexton, Keyonte, Sensaubaugh, and 5 FRP, plus filler (Probably KO and Samanic and Fonttechio I believe makes it work). But if I'm looking at a number 1/2 option type player I would prefer a guard. Also, I ask myself what I'm looking for in a PF next to Lauri and Kessler. I want someone who shoots the 3, great off ball help defender, and someone with good body size since Markkanen is a little thin. Hendricks checks two of those boxes as a rookie. Probably never gets to the body size even with added weight. But Siakim won't either and he doesn't shoot the 3. I actually think Hendricks projection of 3-D role player is a great fit. Like I said, Doncic is like the absolute perfect piece in my mind of who I want. PickNRoll with Kessler and with shooters around him just seems great.

    Kessler did a podcast where he was asked about three point shooting and he said he is focusing on free throws first, so that’s the main focus for this off-season

    One other thing I LOVED from Keyonte is his ability to get to the line. 20 FTA in 3 games is elite

    I don't see Siakam and Lauri playing together working. Neither can Siakam play Kessler's position, so only way for Siakam to be taken by Jazz is to release Lauri. I don't see any route here that would actually really benefit Jazz, Lauri is their Siakam… . Btw my "Ask LOJ: What player in the current NBA would be best fit to play with Lauri Markkanen?" if that is the route Jazz want to go forward.

    I don’t see us making a play for Siakam, our front court is already log jammed. Let’s not rush this rebuild. Keep drafting and developing chemistry, then trade for vets once we have our solidified core.

    Also, for the protected picks, why don’t those teams just rank to ensure they keep their pick? I don’t see why you would ever trade for a protected pick.
