   It’s not THE Beard, but it is a beard. Probably overpaid, but I think this guy is going to be exactly what we need for the young guys to take the next step.

   Make it make sense to me.

   Adding FVV and Dillon Brooks is gonna take 25-30 shots a night away from the young guys that need reps to develop into NBA players.

   This seems like a win-now move predicated more on trying to make the play-in ASAP rather than helping the core grow into their potential.

   My fear is these FA signings translate into deadline moves that trade away 2 or 3 of the young core for a Pascal-like win now option that helps the Rockets be a 7th seed and 1st round exit, and stuck in mediocrity forever.
