This Front office has made the team weaker. Donte add another glut at guard and still have no viable wings.
Don't mixed up scared to make moved with competence. This all start with passing over Haliburton for OBi. Not holding the coach accountable for killing the value of several asset on the team. Making terrible trade deal where teams can easily avoid 1st rd picks moving over. They essentially taken the off season off and have stood by while their direct competition have come up with ways to improve. Simply put. It was an absolute disgrace of 2 offseasons.
Giving away a near all star for a bag of balls because ur brain dead coach is unable to figure out how to use him is the opposite of competence by my account.
This whole clip is a knicks apology tour. They haven't really held the team accountable for some bad decisions and lack of creativity to improve the roster. It's starting to get really old.
don't sleep on divincenzo…he can shoot and play defense..also got a good motor..he's a plus…all knick fans hate to see obi go (myself included, of course)..but give the knicks credit for moving him, so he can get more playing time, and hopefully get the bag at some point…..maybe we can move jericho into the backup 4 spot..or maybe another move is coming..we'll see
We legit are the same team basically. Obi defense may have not been emasculate but let’s not act like randles isn’t any better. Dante offense is being a little too overrated. He’s only produced 9pts and he got 27 minutes! Makes me sick how ignorant we are. We need a trade now before everyone keeps snatching them all up and it will be more that we give up. What sucks too is no one wants to trade with us either. FA needs to start building from the draft instead of always going after past rejects
Another person who wants to say, "Randle has been All-NBA two of the last three years". Hey, that's great, but let's remember he's been here four years and that first year is exactly why Obi was drafted. Compared to previous regimes this group has been competent, but considering how low the bar was set is that really saying anything? There biggest coup was landing Brunson and as I've said numerous times before, that wasn't due to the genius of this regime, but because of Cuban's stupidity. It will be interesting to see how they handle IQ and Grimes. These are two young players with a world of potential who have looked very good. However, I'm afraid they are going to blow it with IQ and with the signing of DDV, it looks like they've created a log jam at the guard position, which will only hurt Grimes. Where's that wing we so desperately need? How about a decent back-up at PF?
