IMO, Dame's not even worth Miami's potential best offer. They need size and inside scoring and shouldn't mortgage their future for a 33 year old small guard with a supermax contract with 4 more years on it.
If Dame was on the team last year, he doesn't help you beat Denver. He can't guard Jokic or really anyone for that matter

His contract is 35% of the cap. No matter what its 35% of the cap period. Doesnt matter if its in 2026 or 2024. Also he just had his best year. He couldve played 70+ games last year if it wasnt for them making him sit. His injuries "Core" have been taken care of. Thats why he had his best season ever last year. Go look at what lesser stars were traded for. 4 first rounders and 2 quality players is still a bargain, especially considering miamis 1st rounders will be LATE LATE 1st round picks.
Miami fans are severely underselling what dames worth. Thats either because they dont know shit or there being stubborn and want to get him for a bargain. Gobert went for 6 1st rounders and QUALITY players last year.
