the cuts is a good point. I was concerned that with the mid-range nature of the other 4 starters, and Ayton's required presence down low; that KBD's offense would be pretty neutralized here and could see himself being pigeonholed on 3pt shooting and have limited success.
I think another advantage he has is his speed. one option could be if the Suns continue to keep Payne as the backup pg to push the pace, he could be a good fit in that second unit.
I feel like the Suns are going to start Payne depending on the matchup, and go with Watanabe for the 5th starter in other spots. I like the idea of KBD but I'm not sure his defense and limited offense will be a huge impact, but again the idea of him getting cuts makes me a little more optimistic because you're taking away decisions from him and the last thing we want is his wild drives to the rim that he got away with in SAS.

That one hurt my spurs
As a Spurs fan that actually watched last season, KBD was underrated, consistent and is basically the definition of an all around role player. Occasional games, he’ll randomly forget how to miss as well, so if your star has an off night, KBD can sometimes step up offensively in big ways.
The Spurs flowing offense means he will make the extra pass, but he’s also surprisingly great using timing to finish at the rim despite not having the quickest first step.
He will be instantly effective for the Suns

Only questionable thing the Suns have done so far is keep Ish Wainright instead of Jock Landale or Biyombo but can't complain with everything they've done so far.

Being a gsw fan, i wanted bolbol there. But if they will not acquire him, the Suns is best for him. Imagine if he is at the under goal, durant in the perimeter, how will they defend that.
