[Murphy] Poeltl’s deal structure, per a source: $19.5M each season, plus $500K in “unlikely” incentives. Player option for 4th year, as reported. McDaniels is a straight 2-year deal for full BAE, no options/partials.

[Kinda fun random one: Gradey Dick got more $$ up front than any rookie (to sign so far) other than Wemby. Contracts for first-round picks are set by the rookie scale, but an initial advance is area teams/players can discuss.](https://twitter.com/BlakeMurphyODC/status/1677434125760831490)
Was hoping for front loaded but a flat structure is also great. Will become a significantly smaller portion of the cap each year, as the cap will rise 10% each year
“Unlikely incentives” = Win finals MVP
Poeltl: And I took that personally.
Surprised it’s not the usual back loaded/escalating structure.
The current way helps the Raptors out in the third and fourth years though.
