I know casual fans won’t like this comparison, but STRICTLY on the court skill set, I believe JD could be for us what Dillon Brooks was for Memphis. Obviously Memphis was ready to move on from Brooks, which appeared to be for reasons outside of basketball. But he was a guy who typically guards the opposing teams best perimeter player while not being a complete liability on the offensive side of the court. & he ended up being rewarded by making his first ever defensive team last year.
i'd be happy w/ 10 points with decent efficiency from davis…let alone 18…
