Which young Rockets player have you been most excited about during the Summer League?
š¤š¾šš
I see a lot of Lamarcus Aldridge in Jabari too
š
To me, Amen plays more like a well-polished Ben Simmons. The player that is a Giddey clone is Anthony Black, he's going to be a sleeper.
Cam is a immature child mad at the world right now talkin bout I dont need none of yall type of mentality. I see him not giving guys five, not passing to facilitate, ball hogging, and doing too much. He needs some character development and maturity. Hopefully, Brooks, FVV, and Udoka will be a foundation for him learning about life and how you need others to survive, cultivating relationships, not living like its high school and being tough and hard, and shoulder checking fools in the hallway ready to fight. Thats Cams attitude right now. Hes so immature so his age and life experiences need to come along before he can unlock his potential. I think he can be a solid bench role on an nba team, but its gonna take some time.
Great show we up up great colab Ali and Frank I had a breakdown OD
Cam is a MENACE
Tari is a BALLHAWK
Jabari has obviously looked way better, but Tari's shot form has gotten way better. He had this kind of flat footed landing last year but this year his shot form looks way more fluid. It looks good enough now that I think he will be able to have a few 37%+ 3 point shooting seasons during his prime. Combine this with his defensive and ability to still drive…he is going to be most likely either an elite role player or a borderline all-star.
Love the podcast, insight, and observations, but when will Silas stop being mentioned in every single episode. I also didnāt like him as a coach, but itās July. Canāt we just move on from Silas?
Bari been had the highest potentialā¦ he KD like if he can get his ball handling tight
Introš„š„
Yo, y'all need to do more podcasts together. Y'all work really well… Great breakdowns. And I think Frank, your personality keeps alykhan calmer than Jackson does š
The content from the rockets community is 2nd to none. Love this pairing. Looking forward to more in the future.
Amen could be the player that we thought Ben Simmons was gonna be
To me, Jabari, Tari going forward.
Lots of great knowledge!
And Amen protected the ball! Only 2 TO and one of those was the fumbled assist to the rookie Center on PNR. With FVV & Amen we wonāt have any more 15 – 20+ TO games!
Yea, you guys talked about bari is always can make most outta his skill sets as he standing at top of the arc, one serious question popped into my head: 'as a big, sengun loves staring his position from there too, then when down the hill which big should facilitate at top of the arc, bari or Goon?'
Yo guys touched on it right away, n break it down perfectly.ā¤
If Ime simply copycat his formula in Celticsā¦then he ain't THE Ime we are expecting all along.
Look at how he concentrated on SL games (those only two), frowned up n in a deep thinkingā¦i bet he's started to considering how to making gOOD use of all sauces he got to cook.
Just give him some credit, i believe figuring out how to maximize personnel at your elbow in a short time span, is the fun part of coaching, THATS why we all agree silas is inept as a hc, he deals w/ in a stiff way, ain't any flexibility.
Heās starting to look like chris bosh a little
100%ā¤
Tari gonna be a super star, to a top notch HC, tari's ceiling is that HC's, the only question is how many minutes will be allowed to THE boyā¦leave THAT to Ime n momsterš
Holy cowā¦FVV-DemonB-Tari-Bari-Alpee, same starting line that I'm gonna throw in 2023-2024 season! Solute!
But waitā¦in that case Ime gotta face an immediate earthquake steming from immature boys like JG n KPj, i gotta no problem let these two to earn PT but will they get over it?
(grown up like landale n tATER would feel no problem coming off the bench but that two kids smhā¦š¢)
Who are the core 6? Is FVV, KPJ and Brooks part of the core?
One dayā¦one day there's gonna be a fued as well as breakup between chemistry-boy 'bari&tari' n immature-boy.
Our FO gotta make a tough decision.
Iām interested to see how quickly jabari can adapt to a new defensive scheme however, I do think since Silas didnāt try different defensive tactics with alp other than drop coverage he will potentially struggle at the start of the season.
This fed my basketball soul, thank you guys for this breakdown and conversation!
