JT’s 46 against Milwaukee or JT’s 51 against Philly?

Tatum’s 2 greatest playoff games of his career so far. Did you prefer the back against the wall in Milwaukee hitting clutch shot after clutch shot? Or the domination at the Garden of just pouring it down against Philly?

I gotta go with the Milwaukee game. Even though crushing Philadelphia felt sweeter, JT’s 4th quarter in Milwaukee is my personal favorite playoff moment in recent history. His 10 straight points of fadeaways and contested 3’s to silence the crowd was just perfect. True superstar stuff.

    Philly.

Dropping 50+ in a Game 7 (at home) vs a team as uniquely built as Philly is next-level starpower.

ETA: Against a direct rival, nonetheless. Philly is only second behind the Lakers in terms of teams we’d absolutely love any chance to stomp on the throats of. The Bucks have only recently become a mini-rival, in comparison.

Philly. Not gonna forget his face when he hit the step back over Embiid and he was like “oh my god” that’s how on fire the dude was lmao.

    Milwaukee for sure.

Elimination game on the road, doesn’t get any tougher than that.

Dangg! This one’s tough but that Bucks game was special, facing elimination in a hostile environment — also the reason why Game 6 JT vs the Sixers is one of my fave playoff games this past season.

Milwaukee. Going down 3-2 on the road after a gutting game 5 loss and dropping 46 is an insane performance.

I enjoyed game 7 Philly more, also game 7 and 51 look much better for records

Bucks. Going down 3-2 against the defending champs, and having to stay alive in their city? HUGE

We needed every point from him that night, too.

Imma go with JT going stupid against Philly and setting the single Game 7 scoring record a week or two after Steph Curry had broken it

I’m going with the Mil game. Not that it wasnt great crushing Philly, but we were handling them pretty handily by the 4th. We needed every single one of those points against the bucks and the fact he was out playing the best player on earth and the defending champs made it so much sweeter

and you still have rnba nephews saying JT isn’t a playoff contender performer 😂

Tatum, Barkley, Dominique, Webber, Iverson, Ewing… :)))

It’s funny national media thinks he has “no dawg” and hasn’t showed up when it matters when there’s multiple examples of record breaking and historic playoff performances like this

Bucks game was elimination on the road against the defending champion and best player in the world who also had an incredible game, and it was a close game so every bucket mattered.

The Philly game was at home against a historic choke artist who has never been out of the second round and played like shit, and by the end Tatum was just piling on what was already a blowout.

The 46 points against the Bucks for me.
The Philly game felt like a win after the 1st quarter, as neither Embiid or Harden looked like they wanted to play and looked so exhausted.
Also I rate Giannis as a top 5 player and the Bucks as a top 5 team in today’s league, where a game of Celtics/Bucks can go either way, whereas the Celtics in the JT/JB era always seem to have a handle on Philly.

Milwaukee. That shit was so fucking cold.

The 51 was dope too, but he had already broken Philly’s soul in game 6.

  16. Philly. My only disappointment was that he didn’t break Bird’s record

  17. finstockton

Milwaukee was prob the more impressive game given the defense he was doing it against was way better but the multiple threes in Joel Embiid’s face in the Philly game were so satisfying

  18. wellbreastfed

He’s inconsistent idc if he lights up every now and then. So does Russell Westbrook

  19. UpstairsRespond4907

The Milwaukee game sticks out to me more

  20. singingbatman27

    Philly, because fuck Philly.

    But Milwaukee was more impressive.

  21. rocket_beer

Philly bc it shut a lot of haters up.

    Top fye

I think 46 against Milwaukee because we still hadn’t gotten over the hump of the ECF yet and people were still saying blasphemy that brown was better

Once Tatum dropped 46 I knew we were coming out the East that year. And Tatum dropping 46 is what gave us the confidence that Tatum can deliver in big games which was why I didn’t lose faith in him against Philly in games 6/7. Hell even when we were down 0-3 I still had faith in Tatum specifically
