Tyler Herro gets way too much hate, but he can’t be the best asset in return for Zach LaVine considering Zach LaVine is Herro’s ceiling. Also, while I’d take a chance on Jovic, I want nothing to do with Duncan Robinson. Even when he’s scoring he’s giving it right back on the other end.

Oh it’s insane. Herro is obviously a straight downgrade to Zach, Duncan Robinson is a negative value with his contract, and Jovic and Terry are pretty much equal (both 2nd year players who barely played and didn’t show anything special when they did). They’d have to give something close in value to Jovic just to get me to take on Robinson’s contract. I’d say the Bulls would need to get 2 firsts and a swap just for me to even think about it.
Reminds me a lot of when the Bulls traded Taj/Dougie to OKC – just like this one, every single element of that trade was a loss for the Bulls (though this of course would have much higher stakes). They traded away the two best players in the deal and somehow decided they needed to throw in a 2nd for the privilege.

I love that they spend all that time justifying the move for Miami, like you need to do that at all lmao. Lavine is straight up better than Herro, Duncan Robinson is a net minus, and then we’re left hopping that Jovic over Daley Terry will make the difference? I guess toss in a couple firsts in 2-3 years – after the window has closed for the Heat – maybe.

This is just engagement bait and by positing it here you took it lol.

I would do it for three first-round picks or two and Caleb Martin

I feel bad for these B/R writers because they constantly need to put out content, and they have to know the articles they write are garbage.
Lavine is probably ranked 25-30 if you ranked all the NBA players?
Herro is probably 60-70?
It makes no sense for the Bulls to do this trade.
MisterxRager
Multiple and I mean multiple 1st round picks if we pull the trigger on this nonsense.

Does BR have a comment section anymore? Thought these trades were so bad no way anyone can agree with this even if your team was the one benefiting
ExtensionMidnight922
I wouldn’t make any of these trades, they are all trash. Herro for Lavine is the dumbest thing I have ever heard plus if Miami is going for Dame, why would they get another guard

How much money? Cuz I could probably think of something 😂

It feels like a lot of the trades B/R do are based either entirely on stat sheets and MyGM mode in 2k. Even their logic for why the Bulls might agree with this at all is backward. The Bulls are a play-in team tops so we should…trade our best player for worse players and contracts to not waste *DeMar and Vooch’s primes?* They also say this is somewhat future-focused for the team. How? We get no draft picks at all, and trade away last year’s rookie for players who are older and have less room to grow?
This is clearly a trade aimed at making Miami better because the NBA media wants to have all the talent on four teams so they can talk about it endlessly.
PM_ME_LATINA_GIRLZ
Am I the only one who doesn’t think Herro is actually that good? Definitely not as the main getback in that trade smh

how about you pay me for clicking that crap and loosing brain cells lol
