I don't think we need any more 'young' players to develop right at this moment in time, so benefiting from having Bojan on the roster as the season unfolds makes sense – then you evaluate where you are right before the trade deadline – are in you in the playoff mix or not, etc.?
Pistons should have drafted Whitmore. We need to trade Bojan.
How long do we hold onto Bogey? Is Troy going to sit back and see how the team performs & where they are at the ASG break and trade deadline? Troy has to be aware that he could be in the same situation as last year. Maybe the offers aren’t as good as Bogey is going to be a year older
I think Weaver knows that Bojan will have way nore value at the trade deadline …especially when the pistons are looking at a losing season mid year and teams are racing to the playoffs and want a top 3 point shooter
There is no question that he will get dealt mid season at the deadline..he has 1 year on his contract
