    3 takeaways:
    -Gillespie was cookin
-P Wat has shown flashes of improved offense
-Kamagate needs to stay in Europe

Gillespie has got a tough road ahead of him to sticking around in the NBA. Seems like a great locker room guy but his career highlight might be accompanying the team during last years title run as an injured player

Besides PWat, the only guy on the summer roster that I think can help this year is Hunter Tyson. He is more athletic and better around the rim than I expected, seems to know what he should do on both ends, and has decent fundamentals on D. If Malone wants the 2nd unit to play D and run, Pickett won’t help there. Strawther’s offensive game is not versatile enough right now.

That’s four more takeaways than I have.

    Kamagate just hugely disappointing

He still has tons of potential, and it’s best that he spends the year in Europe, but I was hoping he could provide that big man presence that we lack, sorely need, and would help us be a more versatile defensive team.

i disagree with the size and defense on gillespie. he’s 6’3 and he played constant D.

this is only his second game back after having his leg broken by a teammate diving onto it last year. it’ll take a minute, predict his next game will be more well rounded.
