I don’t think it’s Masai that’s his source, I think it’s someone in MLSE.

Some doomer on here is gonna flip “raptors fans” and “Grange”

Some Raptors fans would rather flame reporters and other fans than even begin to question Masai and the FO after consistently fucking up for like 3 seasons.

Grange is not the mouthpiece for the FO. If he were, he would not have been so critical of them lately. He’s getting his news elsewhere.

Nobody is flaming Grange everybody is criticizing the FO

FO really messed up at the TDL if their bet was the offseason would offer better value (29 losers or whatever the F he said).
I don’t know what they are doing. It looks like they wanted to compete (Poeltl trade), but FVV not coming back (BTW, if FVV is the direction changer your org is in trouble) changed their plans. Now they are forcing out Siakam, but there’s no value to be had because PS doesn’t want to leave. They put themselves in a situation where the player has more leverage. And I get the sense they’re leaking stuff so it seems like Siakam is the bad guy for wanting to be here.
And what the hell is going on with the Summer League roster? Obviously the most recent players (Dick, Nowell) need time to cook, but this FO can’t even roster a decent lineup of guys trying to prove themselves.
I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking how they lost opportunities to sign better players but wasted them on Joe Wieskamp.

I find Grange to be one of the more level headed and insightful reporters focusing on the Raptors. He gets a lot of scoops that others don’t usually get and it’s because he’s discrete. He won’t give ALL the details on what he knows but he’ll throw some breadcrumbs.
Like just now, I listened to the latest Raptors Show and he was all non-commital on how serious some teams are after Siakam.
So for those shitting on Grange shame on you.

Grange gets a ton wrong (remember suggs), but its weird how many people shit on him for literally just doing his job. He’s either “trying to shit on pascal” or “trying to ruin the FO’s leverage” according to our delusional ass fans, meanwhile he’s literally just reporting what he’s heard.

Eod, it doesn’t matter how mad we get. The FO should ignore all of us

Each day I get a step closer to the FIRE MASAI side.
This team is an absolute mess. All because he lacked the balls to realize his boys club ceiling was quite low, and he didn’t make the dramatic move at the right time.
I honestly don’t get it; he had done it before (see Carmelo). The only thing I can think of is that he’s holding out for a similar package, but the reality is that Melo was looked at as much more valuable than what Siakam is now, and the Knicks got desperate since there was another team lurking in the off-season who could take him.
Know he’s basically going out to damage Siakam’s reputation with the fans. You know how we hear this crap about Dame in Portland will keep people away from Portland if they don’t trade him where he wants?
Well (I say this as in you still make that trade), but this along with the Demar ousting doesn’t look too great on our FO either right?
Masai has done a wonderful job of keeping the team a contender for a decade and brought us a title. But these last years might be where his arrogance screws us over for the next decade.
Maybe, he knows that the minute he calls to rebuild, Rogers is going to come back for him.
