[Shaq] Ima have to go with the magic on this one. Young Shaq and young Dwight, wooweeeeee

Shaq seems to compliment Dwight Howard, in a thread he posted about matching up the All time greats on the Lakers and Magic. Is he finally ending the beef with Dwight?

> [Shaq] this game might go seven, what you think. and i’m a have to go with the magic on this one. young shaq and young dwight, wooweeeeee

I found this pretty surprising, coming from Shaq. What do you guys think?

Damn, crazy just how much ball Shaq knows which is a lot

Shaqs been better with giving praise since Kobe passed. Good to see him giving Dwight props

    VC, McGrady, Shaq, Dwight, Penny?

The rim would unfasten itself and walk away lmao.

We all know that Lakers team would smoke the Magic one but it’s nice to see Shaq give Dwight some respect. Part of it may be Kobe’s passing, but I think he feels he may have contributed to Dwight not being named to the NBA 75. You never want to take away anyone’s bread even if you’re not a fan of their game. Dwight deserved to be in the NBA 75 too.

Shaq’s just trying to be nice.

There’s no world where you pass up having 4 top 10-ish all-time teammates.

VC was a support player by the time he went to the Magic though.

If you’re taking absolute peak, LeBron would be OP in this matchup.

Love Shaq. I do feel like he’e trying to overcompensate for being a dick to Dwight in the past though because that lakers team is arguably the best starting 5 you could assemble from any team’s all time roster

  8. The only thing I agree with is that Orlando Magic Shaquille O’Neal > Los Angeles Lakers Shaquille O’Neal.

  9. HolyRomanPrince

Shaq is extremely emotional and extremely calculated. I doubt it’s “over” but he’s probably figured out it doesn’t help him to punch down anymore.

Is it a 48 minute game or to 21? I could see it in a game to 21 but a regulation game Idkkk

Shaq for what it’s worth Was always super complementary of his magic gays teammates

Shaq realized life’s too short to be a hater

fortunately we’re all a lot younger so we don’t have to realize that yet, but I’m happy to see it from him

Wow do they really have to put Vince out on the wing?

The guy was well past his prime when he got to Orlando. I assumed Grant Hill had at least 1 good year in Orlando, but nope. He was hobbled by injuries and had 1 good year of 19-4-3

Jesus, Franz Wagner might be claiming “best SF in Magic history” much sooner than anyone expected

BULL! The Lakers teams have 3 absolute locks in the top 5 all time In Kareem, Lebron and Magic, plus Kobe and Shaq are both top 10 and a lot of people would have Kobe as a top 5.

  15. Static299

Spacing would be way better on the magic

Shaq is a wildcard. He’ll give Dwight props and then clown him a few months later. Idk if he runs his own instagram account, but shortly after Dwight didn’t make the top 75, Shaq reposted a post on his instagram story that said “Damian Lillard has no business being on the top 75 over Dwight Howard”

I think deep down Shaq respected Dwight, but is just clowning him cause other people find it funny and he just wants to continue to entertain them

  17. UnrulyExistence

Come on, literally half of the top 10 players of all time in the same lineup. Good luck

  18. Jameszhang73

If you know Shaq, all his compliments for other people center (no pun) around complimenting himself first. He has an uncanny talent of bringing himself into any all-time great convo while still giving people respect.

  19. Lopsided-Mobile2197

Shaq you don’t have to pretend to protect Dwight’s feelings

  20. UnnamedStaplesDrone

no, he’s complimenting Young Dwight. as in, before he felt threatened by him and his superman dunk

  21. Nightmannn

Shaq is aging and wants to bury all hatchets.

  22. RVAIsTheGreatest

I think he’s always seen himself somewhat in Dwight, just as an inferior little kid version. But still someone that would bully the Lakers crew. He has a soft spot in his heart for dominant bigs.
