Yes, Mike, league rules permit having players over 6'9", according to Adam Silver; he adds that special G League rules will now allow Insider Danny Marang to occupy the Center spot on the Rip City Remix in the coming campaign–as long as he doesn't have to run, as no one expects the team to get that many rebounds anyway…. And! Rumors abound that possibly the Remix may feature a former All NBA Star, though no names have been mentioned…
I think part of Shaedon's challenge in having a better first step is the ball-handling skills. It's still an big area of opportunity for him to improve.
Thanks for your question at 28:00. I looked at the NBA rules and the section reserved for the Blazers. The Blazers were told NOT to add players taller than 6ft9. Let me know if you need the exact entry in the Rules book.

Sharp has looked exhausted out there. Night and day from last season. I thought he had a great first step last year. Don't look like he has been putting much work into this offseason. Things will probably look much different by the beginning of the NBA season. If not we are in trouble!
