Oh jeez another Simmons video. The Instagram top 10 player of all the time.
Fans should have zero belief or trust that Ben will be anything more than what he has been because his issues go back to Philly not just when he had a back issue. So they can claim it was all the back all they want but until we see him on the floor in a real NBA game SHOOTING the BASKETBALL meaning not passing up wideopen layups under the basket and doing more than screen hand offs there is no point in discussing him.
I never believed the biggest issue was his back I see basketball yips and until he shows he has overcome those demons I expect him to be marginally better but not the same elite guy people remember.
Good evening everyone. Barring Tyler Herro coming to Brooklyn the current squad has a strong defensive core.
Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson Dorian Finney Smith Nic Claxton Royce o Neale Dennis Smith Jr and Lonnie Walker lV all bring strong defensive skillsets that allow their offense to shine more. Now if and that's a big IF Ben Simmons can return to his elite defensive level the sky is the limit for this teams potential.
Ben Simmons is a rare type of defensive player who can guard one through five and play all positions on the court including center. As a playmaker though is where he can impact the Brooklyn offense. His assist passes could really allow Bridges Johnson Claxton and other's to increase their own offensive output too 🔥.
Ben Simmons when healthy is a multi type glue guy who can help elevate everyone game to another level 🔥.

Now adding Tyler Herro to this core could help balance the squad out.
A potential rotation of Tyler Herro Mikal Bridges Ben Simmons Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton could be a strong unit 🔥. Having Simmons being the point guard could allow Mikal Bridges and Tyler Herro to score more freely and do some iso plays as well. Johnson meanwhile could see a bigger increase in his three point shot having Simmons set up him up with some good assists as well.
Claxton and Simmons on the court though is a puzzle that still needs time to work out but having Simmons set up Claxton for some easy lobs and doing some combo moves together could really help their chemistry grow more on the court together…

Ben Simmons is literally Draymond Green 5.0 but since he was a #1 draft pick and compared to Lebron ppl want him to be more than what he is. “He can’t shoot” so fucking what? Neither can half of the other players that are 6foot10+ …..and they can’t handle the ball, guard all 5 positions and be a facilitator like Ben can smh ppl just like to follow trends and hating on Ben Simmons is a fun trend rn 😂 ppl are fucking sheep 🙄
But if Ben went to a team that was better suited for him. Like a team that Giannis or Zion has. Play Ben at the 4 along side another big that can stretch the floor at the 5 . And have guys that can shoot and create their own shot at the 3 2and 1. And just let Ben play point forward.
Imagine Ben on the Pelicans instead of Zion. Or the Wolves instead or Gobert. Or better yet the Warriors.

Jaque Vaughn & Ben Simmons definitely feuded after kd and kyrie left. Vaughn was bringing him off the bench, switch everything defense that had ben guarding centers which got him in foul trouble. Just totally using him wrong. HES A POINT GUARD.

He had back surgery…that's not easy to recover from. You could tell when he jumped for a rebound or a dunk. He had NO LIFT. My father had back surgery and I know it's not a simple operation to recover right away from
Simmons can play 100%. Bens greatest problem is when he plays aggressive he’s an All Star when he doesn’t he’s an average player. He’s a Point Guard and the coach better wake up. Saying this they will trade him 😏

Coming from a country where the most popular sport is rugby, maybe Ben Simmons should've chose that instead of basketball.
Ben Simmons has been successful financially. He's done enough to get selected 1st pick of the first round of the draft and he, eventually, secured a huge contract. Maybe that was the main goal. Regardless of whether he return to all star performance or take an early retirement, he'll be wealthy for the remaining of his life if he don't squander his money.
