– 2028 from the Heats
– 2024 from the Pel or the Bulls
The 2025 and 2028 SRP go to the Mavs. The 2024 SRP goes to the Celtics.

Assuming the plan is to dip Bullock and/or Graham and or others for 2nd round picks, this is great
2024 2RP is probably the best of the bunch since it’s the better of Pels and Bulls pick.
So ends up being 3 2nds and taking Bullocks expiring for a 1st round swap. Brian rolling the dice hoping to hit big with some of our extra seconds. From a value standpoint think we overpaid but given our situation probably worth taking.

We could probably recoup that by flipping Reggie at the deadline to a contender too
The unprotected part of the pick swap overstated. The small percentage chance that it turns into a top-5 pick (or even the top pick) is well worth trading our surplus of 2nds.
I’d like this deal a lot less if the pick swap had even the smallest protections on it. The appeal is the huge upside.

This is exactly what you stockpile all the seconds for. So that you can overpay for the opportunity to hit big down the road. That pic swap could become nothing. And if it doesn’t end up being valuable. All you gave up were some minimally valuable second round picks
Make it also absolutely be something spectacular if Luka leaves
I valued SRP picks every low prior to the new CBA. With the CBA being slowly rolled out over the next few seasons, low cost players will continue to become more and more valuable. Wish it was straight up getting the FRP instead of a swap. We got Wemby off a 14% chance so maybe this swap becomes value too.
That means the spurs wanted bullock. Though the 2030 pick swap is valuable. From listening to the gym talk I think the spurs are high on him and value his presence and what he can do on the court.
Also come trade deadline they can move him and get more picks so it’s really a no brained.
