    >Sportsnet first revealed Indiana’s apparent interest in Siakam, in addition to Atlanta’s long-standing pursuit of him, which became somewhat of a talking point around Las Vegas as well.

    >It doesn’t appear to be a coincidence the 29-year-old veteran is skipping out the same summer he has an undetermined contract situation and an undetermined city to call home.

    >Indiana would make sense as a possible destination, at least from the team side of things. For the last year and change, the Pacers have earnestly explored any starting-level, modern power forwards across the NBA, from Tobias Harris to Harrison Barnes to Siakam’s teammate, O.G Anunoby, sources said. There’s no doubt Indiana has at least discussed the premise of adding Siakam and the steep asking price Toronto has, by all accounts, maintained for all of its veteran talents the past few seasons.

Basically Fischer doesn’t know what’s going on and he is basing his reports off of rumours he heard from Grange

What refreshing and new information, Fischer!

I never knew that Atlanta and Indiana are interested in Pascal and that he wishes to stay here 😱

This whole situation just hurts man. He actually wants to stay with us

Where would he go once his contract expires if he doesn’t intend to resign with the team that traded for him?

Bro can the front office just offer the 4/192m extension he’s eligible for pleaseeee

This Siakam situation is getting taxing. It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just business but fuck this is a drag.

Being a Raptors fan is infinite edging

If we’re getting the terrible offers we’re seeing right now we’re better off just extending Siakam.

None of the rumoured deals have particularly blown me away.

At minimum Siakam is a good player on our team if we extend him, at maximum a better trade piece at the deadline since he would be no longer expiring.

Fair enough. We should extend him

Ya i’m sure hes not going to sign with the next team, quit the league and retire.

No one is going to give the Raptors market value for a guy who’s likely to be a one-season rental…Siakam isn’t going anywhere at this point IMO and it’s more likely OG gets moved…from what I’ve read, teams are hesitant to give up a lot for Siakam unless he commits to signing a long-term deal which he hasn’t so…

  13. LemmingPractice

If this is true, then just give the man the paperwork and get him signed.

I’m sick of the trade talk. Man’s a Raptor legend, if he’ll sign the normal max this summer, then just get it done already.

Those that want to resign Siakam have to realise you can’t play Barnes Siakam and Poeltel together in modern NBA and win. They can’t shoot 3’s.

Last summer, the Raps had a chance to get KD and move Barnes with other players. They really should have moved either Siakam if they wanted to go young which is what they should do now or moved younger pieces to get KD.

    Right now it’s extremely confusing
