I see people on youtube comments seeing this as a goodbye. What I see is a guy that might be trying to remind this fickle fanbase that he is a great player with an even better work ethic. No drama or immaturity, the guy just works.

I for one will miss him immensely if he is traded.

I don’t see a way back, I think the relationship is dead and will be the biggest stain in Masai tenure.

King!!! Remind them who you are

Extension incoming? Undoing all the bad PR from the last week? Doesn’t seem like a goodbye video

  5. > Allow me to **re**-introduce myself.

He stay!! Extend this man already Masai.

  6. Responsible-Release7

He wants that supermax so bad he could probably earn it with Vanvleet out

Just trying to spread a little love and positivity for our boy.

I like PS a lot as a human and as a basketball player. We should 100% bet on this guy. Masai is smart, he isnā€™t going to trade him unless he has a ridiculous offer and thatā€™s not out there. He will extend him and I am good with that. He is a great character guy has gotten better pretty much every year. How can we not support that! Raptor fans have shiny new object syndrome. Business is all about odds for success. Best odds for success lie with extending Pascal!

MINIMUM 2 frps, one elite good young player or just extend P. No other way.

People forget how much hard work it takes for a player of Pascal’s archetype to be considered one of the top 25 in the league. This guy came here with no shot, no handles, and was thrust into a starting role on a ECF team as a rookie. His hustle on and off the court has been legendary.

He is THE ideal of what every team hopes their rangy raw young player will develop into. And he will likely be better than all of them and have a better career than many wings that come with “elite” skills.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Masai thinks that Pascal can still reach another level next year.

Itā€™s absolutely insane the improvement this guy has made since he came into the league. He had one of the coldest shooting slumps Iā€™ve ever seen but you couldnā€™t take keep him off the court since he was such a dawg. Now heā€™s a star and about to sign for 200 millionā€¦crazy respect šŸ«”

  17. Economusings

Why not him Masai??? WHY NOT HIM????

  18. sighjongs

is this the footage from his vid cam that he takes around?

  19. Interesting-Cup6332

At this point just let him go somewhere heā€™s appreciated. The way weirdos here are making YouTube vids depicting Fred as a sabotaging villain weā€™ve now clearly entered Celtics-level of fan toxicity. I realize most of them are inbred hockey fans that donā€™t actually follow hoops, but god damn, shits beyond embarrassing.

THIS is Raptor culture and character! Really hope Masai and Bobby arenā€™t so distracted by their shiny new toy that they forget this. Scottie is not ready to step into these shoes and be handed the keys. He needs a guy like Pascal to mentor him. Spicy has the humility and character you want in a veteran leader and is the kind of player you love to cheer for. I had my frustrations when he went through the slump but damn if this dude didnā€™t show us all up by working hard and coming back stronger. How can u not be hyped on his dedication to his craft and this team? Stories like Pascalā€™s are what make sports great, what creates that emotional connection, and what inspires ballers young and old. Spicy is about as good a development story as youā€™re going to find in the NBA and I donā€™t think weā€™ve seen his peak. Hope he stays but will always have mad respect for him no matter what happens. Thanks PS, Raps legend forever!

I love Pascal. But this organisation needs a proper rebuild. He is the asset most able to bring back a solid young prospect and draft picks. His departure will also allow for growth for Scottie Barnes. It will be the right move long-term to move on from him. The cupboards are pretty bare in Toronto once you get past the starters, a group who already missed the playoffs before losing their starting point guard. Frankly speaking, this would be a good year to tank. Moving OG wouldnā€™t upset me either.
