    >There was a lot of chuckling when I brought up reporting out of Toronto that the Raptors were exploring deals for Pascal Siakam. “Tell me one I haven’t heard.” “Oh, I love this song!” “Fool me twice, Shame on Masai (Ujiri).” These were among the comments

Thunder if they are willing to pay up have a interesting offer. Dort+ Cason wallace+ picks/filler would be solid for Pascal.

Siakam on the thunder would actually be quite nice.

Siakam for Oladipo / Bertans / Tre mann / Jalen Williams and a FRP would do it for me.

    Dennis/Mann

    GTJ/Jdub

    OG/Dick

    Barnes/Precious

    Jak/Boucher

thats a solid young team with some young established players to develop.

    Thunder become

    SGA

    Cason

    Dort

    Siakam

    Chet

That would at least be a mid range team

I do hate that speculation is news with these writers lol

regardless of the raptors just obviously not trading him, he could go to these places

Damn I thought this was gonna be a post cause I’m subbed to r/television, got excited Spike was getting relaunched under a new name

Cason being the prime target would be an ideal return for Siakam. We need a prospect at PG in the worst way and one that can grow with the team/timeline of Scottie/OG.

I know our FO has been really hesitant in the past to make trades where draft picks are the main part of it, but getting a bunch of picks from OKC, even if they’re not great picks, could really help this franchise in the next phase. Not just in getting young talent, but having picks to move to upgrade and balance out our roster. Like, imagine our trade for Jakob was with 2024 laker pick (or the later of the two picks) instead of our own? Or if the trade for Thad was about swapping a first round Philly pick instead of our own? Those would be a lot more palatable, and it would give us a lot more flexibility in our deals. Having only our picks to trade has handcuffed us a bit into these deals.

Not to mention, I love having a first round pick from another team. We can cheer for wins even if we’re under .500 halfway through the season without thinking about the effect on the draft pick.

Might be able to get SF Williams, as I’m assuming Chet, Giddy and Shai are their untouchables. If not, I’d be happy with Wallace and all the picks.

OKC cannot use all the picks anymore. No more spots. Give it to us

OKC has so many good pieces, but I’m skeptical that they’ll include any of them. Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, Jaylin Williams, Lu Dort, and Tre Mann all have some level of appeal.

A deal of Cason Wallace, Jaylin Williams, and Lu Dort would be a great deal, but I suspect they’re going to offer something closer to Jaylin Williams, Tre Man, Lu Dort, and Davis Bertans garbage contract.
