I can’t tell if this is to calm down the Mavs fans or to entice another team’s FO

I still dont see him on the team. Seth is a better shooter, and doesn’t get into slumps like THJ.

I wouldn’t mind THJ for next season if we didn’t sign Seth Curry, who literally does the same thing at a much cheaper price.

Because now our bench guard rotation is hella weird. Hardy, THJ, Seth, Exum…how are these minutes getting split?

He’s streaky right, if we played another 14 games he would shoot 25% from 3 imo

He dosent fit at all on the team right now, id be surprised if he is still on the roster at the start of training camp, and id be even more surprised if he isnt on another team by the end of the trade deadline.

This sub wants him gone. He’s a 14ppg guy… you can always use scorers. I’m fine hanging on to him if you can’t get anything of value for him. Shoot ‘em up!

What’s his percentage in the paint when attempting layups?

I have no idea why so many Mavs fans are anti THJ. Are there wings out there that would be nice to bring in and replace him due to their defense? Sure, but that’s much easier said than done and the dude provides a ton of value as one of the best shooters in the league playing next to two of the best playmakers in the league. He was unqeustionably the teams’s 3rd best player post all star game, we didn’t miss the playoffs b/c of Timmy.

Interesting. I was also curious how many charges he averages as well. He’s far from an amazing defender, but I feel like he’s also far from being our worst… I am not the biggest THJ fan, but I won’t pretend he’s the worst player on on the squad.

I don’t care for THJ’s defense, but our offense was significantly worse whenever he didn’t play these past few seasons.

Fuck it let’s just start Luka/Kyrie/THJ/Green/Williams. Have Hardy, Curry, Prosper, Kleber, Powell/Holmes off the bench. Lively getting minutes when he can. We’re going to be tiny no matter what and the rebounding will suck. Just go full offense

The only problem with Timmy is that he’s slightly overpaid and a he’s bit redundant on our roster. He’s a solid NBA player. He’s not a negative.
