Payment schedule, wonder what that means exactly. Maybe they’re trying to figure out a way to pay him the same amount of money, but at weird times to help their tax line

There’s nothing here. The Celtics will pay him and if Jaylen wants to leave down the road he’ll still take the money now and then request a trade when that time comes.
He probably does sign it but there’s a chance he asks for a trade since he probably doesn’t like it here, all the trade rumors he’s been in, and we traded his best friend in Smart.
It was always going to be weird because of his personality. I think even the most irrational Jaylen Brown stan can admit that because he’s a weird dude that this was never going to be straightforward.

Let me clear; jaylen is not worth the supermax; not worth becoming the highest paid nba player at any point. So that IS a bit of a sticking point. I guess you have to overpay sometimes, and the team probably will. But it’s not a slam dunk.
Some of you guys need to unplug from sports media of making nothing out of something. Just ignore this stuff and focus on more important things, like michael jordan walsh.
