I think some form of self awareness is important here.
Dame is not Portland and Portland is not Dame. However, he has shared some amazing moments with us and those moments are likely MORE important to him than they are to even the most die hard fan.
If you feel like those shots summed up your life well then, guess what, they definitely summed up his life.
The moments shared have been beneficial, at a minimum.
Most likely they have been defining moments of Damian Lillards life and moments he will always cherish and associate with this place.
so just a reminder, heās been with us for long enough that we at least owe him some base level of respect.
