I kinda wish some random player who wears number 6 decided to do this right before he had the idea. Like what if one day ago, Hamidou Dialo was like, “I’m changing my number to honor the great Bill Russell”

When he first switched to #6 in Miami he said that #23 should be retired across the league and never once mentioned Bill Russell as his inspiration. He’s such a friggin tool.
