i think one thing that's underrated by this kid is his basketball IQ, and that's a very valuable skill to bring to the big leagues

He needs at least 10 pounds of muscle. Dude will be a star. Gradey needs to start hitting those weights.
high iq, wants to defend, shoots the 3, dunks, will make the right pass. he has potential and no place better than the raptors to flesh that potential out. i cant wait to see him with the main squad of the team. in a way the game will be easier to gradey because he isnt the guy the team is relying on most of the game.
I be the first to admit he is nice even if I wanted hawkins before him but ever game improved and he is not in game shape
I didn’t expect him to post great #’s in a meat grinder, Iso ball, non-team, gotta get a contract Summer League, but, he did. So screw the #’s cause it’s not what I value cause good #’s come at the top level if you play the right way. He makes his teammates better, he positions himself correctly on both end’s of the floor, makes the right passes & shots, makes quality passes, works hard and he’s smart. He’s got lots of work to do to reach his potential, but I like the attitude and the tools. I think he’ll have a quality career and I wish him well. I’m happy we got him, quality pick. Now we have a majority of players who play the right way. Scottie, O.G., Jak, Otto, Grady for sure. I’m leaning towards Trent Jr, Precious, and Koloko joining this group & hopefully we got a few more. Now you pick up some high potential youth and decent depth and this is a dangerous team come 2025 thru 2030. All we gotta do is move on from the anchor that is Siakam. Move him while you can get some value before it’s too late. Signing him to a max, when he doesn’t fit the team concept and timeline is a doubling down on a bad decision to make him the guy 3 years ago. The writing is on the wall ignore it at your own peril.
10 mins a game and the weightroom everyday for grady
He plays the right way, looks more like 17 than 19 out there… but he can shoot, cut, rebound… and finish. He needs a year in the weight room, but he is athletic. By the time he is 21, filled out a bit, shooting honed at the NBA level… he's a starter, and I do think Barnes is going to help him along as Barnes needs this man to work out. That's a huge plus, and he knows Barnes has him in mind.
It's worth noting that the teams the Summer League Raptors lost to mostly went on to be finalists… good shooting and even better (i.e, tougher) defence against the Raptors squad.
High IQ, high energy, high effort.
He's playing like a he's a lot older than he is. And if he's not the main guy on the roster, it's even better.
He was gradually improving but will still need his protein shakes. It's going to be a fun season barring any big trades
We can afford Gradey’s deficiencies with a frontcourt of GREAT defensive power players like OG, Scottie, Jakob, Otto, Precious, Koloko, and McDaniels

I won't proclaim to have known or given a ahit about any of these prospects. But after getting drafted, I'm sure we all did the same thing and scoured YouTube.
The kid isn't just a one dimensional shooter. He knows ball, he can hoop.
He'll come along, and he'll thrive here.
His fundamentals remind me of Mike. He's always active, saw him even get his back on players for the box out. The kid knows how to play basketball, he's a great pick for the Raptors. The fact he's so dangerous from the 3-point line alone is going to get this young man a lot of minutes.
He wasn’t top five because he’s projected to be a role player and not a star. But I think his upside was underrated. Not saying he is a star but he’s definitely a starter
