Suns fans lost their shit in the r/nba thread when I said this was a bad sign for the Suns, but I stand by it. The whole point of getting Brad as a third option should be to maximize his scoring and limit his time with the ball in his hands. He’s an elite off-ball player who is merely “good” at being the primary facilitator, but not great. I don’t get this move at all.
Beal at Point Guard with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker flanking him is a lot different than with Rui Hachimura and Davis Bertans doing so, that’s all I’m going to say.

They’d honestly be better off starting Goodwin and putting Brad at the 3.
Ha, sure. Have fun. He only leads the league every year in baffling late-game turnovers in which his brain short-circuits and he forgets how to dribble and pass. Definitely point guard material.
