    don’t really care for his take here tbh. portland’s position is that they don’t want herro, so it’s up to the heat to use herro to help them get assets that are more desirable for portland. it has to be a somewhat equitable deal at the end of the day. that being said, fuck woj.

    People here complain about the national media bias against Miami all the time, but forget that we have a legit national sports show that has a huge miami bias/focus. Very few other cities have that. Lebatard show isn’t perfect, but also thank god we have them

    Lol I mean why is woj getting called out when everybody knew that was his job for years?It’s because it involves miami that people now took notce lol.All media members have their biases.Woj gets his info from front offices while shams gets his from agents and players .They all have their agendas .

    I don’t agree with all of this but I like the Heat’s position here. They’re saying we’re not going to bid against ourselves. Find a better deal from anywhere in the league and we’ll beat it but for now Tyler is the best player being offered to you by ANY team, based on the circumstances that Dame has put them in.

    Of course Portland don’t have to do shit but there’s a reason every single trade request is granted – the team wont want that circus around them the closer we get to the season. It’s a staring contest and this ain’t our first rodeo.

    People are quick to forget that Portland wants FRPs, not more guards. And Miami is the only one at the table right now, but that may not be true in a month or 5 months.

    Consensus is probably that maxey is better than herro right now. Maxey has more athleticism, herro has more skill. There is a world where herro is a borderline all star in 3-4 years. Question is can either of them defend their position. There is probably more optimism that maxey can be a league average defender in the future due to his athleticism.
