No player in the league is tough enough to carry the sixers while embiid is missing playoff games. Jimmy, harden and Ben were all good enough running mates to make it out the second round he underachieved with all 3 of them.

I don’t know how Morey pulls a rabbit out of the hat this time. Harden is still an all-star level player, but being an expiring contract at 33 years and clearly hunting for another big payday is not the right recipe for Morey to upgrade the roster around Embiid by dealing Harden.
The market for a player like that is going to be the desperate few. So is waiting until the season starts for a team to falter out of the gates the best way to raise his value? Will Harden hold out if it goes that far? How will Embiid deal with having a 2nd all-star level player on the sidelines wasting another year of his prime?
It’s so messy, and the best clearest option, Dame Lillard, is adamant about going to your direct competitor. I don’t see any way this ends well for Morey and the Sixers.
