I think it’s also crucial to mention swapping Shamet for Goodwin. Most people thought it was going to be nearly impossible to get something of value for Shamet. To get a young PG who is defensive minded (on a cheaper deal) is a big upgrade.
At least the suns have some young players to develop now with some promise.
