Kris dunn clearly. They need someone who is a better than average passer because on the roster its basically him or kiante and kiante is uncertain. Tht or sexton just dont work with our likely starting lineup.
I truly am not fully sold Keonte to be any better than Sexton or even Dunn, I just don't still see him being overall better PG than so many others. I need years of development from him to be convinced, too many times people think draft picks are instantly 100% certified NBA star level players just because they succeeded in SL. Now for people to not go ballistic on me, I have high hopes for KG to be a star player, but there really isn't yet enough evidence for me to be fully sold on him.
Sexton or THT? Neither of them is a point guard. But THT has better size and can maybe play some defense. With Sexton the Jazz are starting two small streaky shoot-first 2 guards. Jazz don't have any good options right now at the 1, but I'd start THT over Sexton. That's assuming Clarkson starts at the 2, which also isn't optimal.
Dunn… he at least tries to play defense😉😉. Sexton is undersized and athletic- will always fight injuries.
Talented opposing guards have always been the Jazz's Kryptonite
Dunn would never be starting 5 pg in any team in NBA but Jazz is kinda starting over so… And Sexton will be traded imo. Excited to have George though
Sexton always so disrespected. He's probably not a great fit next to Clarkson but maybe Jazz can send him to a situation where he can shine. A team like the Bucks are desperate for a young, quick scoring guard to add to Jrue, Giannis, Middleton, etc. I imagine Sexton, THT, and JC will all be gone within the next 12 months. Personally I'd keep Sexton as the long term 6th man if he's fine with that role. JC was great in that role when they had Don but doubt he would be ok going back to 6th man backing up kids like Ochai or Keyonte.
