Only way this roster makes any sense is if Marks is cooking up a potential Tyler Herro deal and will be clearing out many of the vets on this roster.
I can’t fathom that Marks thinks this is enough to actually have a serviceable product on the floor.
Good afternoon everyone. Looking at it from a clear point of view Cam Thomas is very far down on the depth chart and riding the bench again would be a disservice to the scoring skills he does have…
However he's also shown a reluctance to improve on his defensive and playmaking deficiencies and might want to seek a role elsewhere…
If anything Brooklyn can use the first half of this season to find opportunities for him to play and build his stock up in order to potentially flip him for a top first round draft pick at the deadline….
In the same vein what does Dayron sharpe future look like? He has shown improvements last season and could earn the backup center position. But if Brooklyn wants to return to contention in the near future resigning Nic Claxton and going after a championship caliber backup center would be the scheme Brooklyn management would go….
So Dayron Sharpe and Cam Thomas could both be shipped out next season around the deadline for valuable draft assets….
A core four of Tyler Herro Mikal Bridges Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton has a lot of potential to be a balanced dynamic. Having Herro's scoring could help unburden Mikal Bridges from having to do so many roles and can focus on defending and finding his scoring opportunities. Herro's pressnce could open more three point scoring opportunities for Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton could get some more easy lobs…. 🔥
If Ben Simmons is still on this team and can return to his elite defensive form that's a strong core five if everyone is available and healthy….
Ultimately Brooklyn's 2025 Suns first round draft pick if sent to Miami for Tyler Herro could help them unlock more draft picks to send out to Portland for Lillard…
At the end of the day this trade standoff needs to end soon so everyone can move forward ready for the season….

I can’t wait for cam Thomas to get traded you guys believe in Ben Simmons and he did absolutely nothing for the past three years Ben Simmons is a role player at best the only way he could be a superstar if he learns how to shoot threes or midrange
If cam could go to the spurs that would be nice with all the young talent on that team I think he could really shine

The real problem for Cam is Jacque Vaughn. He’s not the right coach for a young team.

Vaughn is a Jackass. Those 3 games in a row he scored 40+ were close games we almost won. They werent blow outs. Even Dinwiddie thought Cam should start. But no JV just hands Spence an DFS starting roles. Instead of the players that were there all year. Gave JV 😂 extension way to soon. No reason for it
This Cam Thomas talk reminds me of the talk around Marshon Brooks. Wouldn't be surprised if Cam is out of the league after his rookie contract just like Brooks.
