  1. Before you comment, understand, you are free to disagree respectfully and thoughtfully. But I do not suffer fools on here. —db

  2. Was the questions asked about FA needs during meeting.
    PJ resign?
    Vet/Backup PG?

  3. I’m sorry but let’s be real, she broke in to his house, he beat her, end of story. Yes he should be apologetic but he is 100% not completely at fault or we would not be where we are at!!! MB did do wrong but he is our player so I stand behind him.

  4. I honestly think that they could’ve thrown the sink at you with details and y’all wouldn’t be satisfied. Might even make things worse. At the end of the day words can only do so much. Responsibility has been taken already. I’d rather see his action going forward.

  5. Miles mentions he we be “more involved the community” lol he has to cuz his required comm. service time lol

  6. I'm certainly not excusing his actions, but in the same way that Brandon Miller evaded all questions about the "incident" he was "involved in", there are lot of potential legal complications if they go into discussing what happened and they've been trained not to address it. Add in the fact that the media would completely blow anything he did say out of proportion (an example, any admission of guilt in the terms of "what I did was reprehensible/unacceptable" and "I feel remorse" our outright admitting wrong-doing when you literally legally admitted no guilt). I'm no legal expert, by any stretch, I'm just reading between the lines like everyone else, but it very much seems like they were told "this is 20 minutes of torture, don't say a word"

  7. Go look at a picture of Rihanna getting beat and Michelle those are 2 totally different photos I love watching y’all show but y’all are completely wrong on this subject

  8. This probably will not be a popular opinion, but I give zero s***s about that. It's mine, and that's all it is.

I don't want to support the action (domestic violence against a woman/child), but I also know that it is sometimes too easy for people who have come from good environments to condemn others without considering the way that they grew up and the environments and the examples that shaped them.

Instead most people picture themselves in the place of another and based on their own experiences say some version of, "well, I would never do that, that piece of s**t human should never be allowed to ______ again".

The young man made a terrible mistake and committed a very bad action. That should be acknowledged in the right way, but I am looking forward to what I hope is the wonderful redemption story of Miles Bridges, a young man who, from what I understand, came from what can be a rough area/environment.

My hope is that instead of another young man rotting in prison and being subjected to further bad environments and examples, he can and will use this to truly learn and become a better person as he matures into a fully grown human man.

From what I know, which admittedly does not involve many details, I am glad that the Hornets are giving him another chance.

I hope Miles is sincere and makes the most of this opportunity, and if he is successful in doing the right things and turns this into an opportunity to become a better person, father, husband again one day, etc…, I hope that the Hornets and the NBA support him properly and use this as an opportunity to highlight and show that people can grow and change and become better than what they were.

  9. Nobody talks more shit about the Hornets than Walker…this is a Hornets fan page; should be supporting the team not trying to stir up drama and highlighting negative’s nonstop.

  10. Why does he need to apologize to you or the public? You guys seem to have made it about yourself and not exactly the victim.

  11. More and more thinking the league ought to have some kind of official mentorship program, for every young player, but especially for guys like Ja and Miles who repeatedly get in trouble. Accountability isn’t just a one way thing that rests on the individual who caused harm, it requires community care and support for that person, whomever they harmed, and the community as a whole.

  12. The contrast in the comments section here vs swarm and sting is sad. Why is YouTube so full of Gelo fanboys that think domestic violence is business as usual? The lack of basketball iq and basic decency is alarming.

  13. I think one of the things yall are missing time and time again is the No contest element. This basically means he’s not admitting guilt but he isn’t arguing innocence either. When you combine that with the well documented toxic stalking behavior of the alleged victim you get a different possible picture of what transpired. There is no excuse for anyone to put their hands on someone… unless its defense. And so we will never know what truly transpired, but we have to recognize that A) he was in a toxic situation and B) this is a personal situation that he has to recover from. We can’t levy judgment especially when there is no judgement.

  14. You can’t admit whats wrong when in court its a No Contest. So again something happen but thats all your gonna get.

  15. Vague answers are always better than detailed ones with reporters.
We want to quell the story not extend it out for another year

  16. He didn’t look the least bit remorseful. The fact he thought he should get 25 mil said that to me prior to this. But oh well…

  17. Just want him to quit taking Lean. Substance abuse affects behavior a lot. And maybe his emotions will be better controlled if he's off that stuff.

  18. I love the pod. Sometimes, especially on this topic, it seems that you guys are the most critical about the Hornets and our players. I’m rooting for my young guys ! I’m rooting for my current players ! Let’s play some basketball, c’mon guys !

  19. Just like James Nnaji, Leaky knows who he is as a player and what he has to be if he wants to stick around in the NBA. His age doesn't help him like nnaji and I know people probably don't care about this type of player but you need people to be a great locker room/team guy that's willing to do what's asked and excel in their role when called. As an on-ball defender other than Cody Martin I could argue him as the best on the roster, even though thats not saying much with what we have. I'm biased as a UNC fan but if he can make his shots more often I think he can help this team down the line. Plus Coach Cliff will be a fan of him I'm def sure of that.

  20. bridges will grow and be a better man and has learned from this. we must move on. its that simple. If we find out any remnants of this behavior remains, we deal with him at that time in the appropriate way.
