Slow day at ESPN? People stopped talking about it long time ago. But I guess they need to stir shit again.

Lakers won and 29 teams didnt. Championship is valid

The guys who belittle the title are out of their minds. Lakers lost home court during the bubble. It’s probably the hardest title ever.

    well fucking duh

this is a topic built for the modern american sport media which is built to appeal to literally the lowest common denominator

of course the title is legitimate. but that doesnt make for a good narrative for one person to scream at another on TV for an hour

It’s always going to be the bubble ring no one cares about. It is what it is.

There’s a part of me that thinks the label of the “Bubble” is what hurts the perception here. If it had a harder name, like the Quarantine Ring or Covid Lockdown Championship, I feel like the discourse would be different. “Bubble” makes it sound more airy and soft and less serious.

why are we still talking about the bubble lol

Only people that minimize are haters with baby dicks and too much time on their hands. No need to defend it after seeing who is actually doing the complaining.

Only an idiot would try to say that this title doesn’t count in fact I would say it counts more than a normal title most of the people hating on it are just jealous

Like I love Charles Barkley but that dude is so salty

What can I say, no other team has ever win in the Bubble.
