    We need to stop making excuses now . We have every piece needed for a championship team . From 3 pointer specialist curry to defensive elite grant , from a great center lively ( or richaun ) to probably the best offensive player (luka ) with a consistent 2 nd superstar in kyrie . And not to mention our bench strength .

    Why is everyone excited about Holmes? he’s 6’9 and won’t help on defense. Not one of our centers would start for any of the 29 NBA teams. It’s just so frustrating the west is packed, at this point we’re a play in team.

    Its kind of obviously holmes more versatile offensively, plays bigger and avgs twice as many rebs as dwight

    Honestly it looks like another failure even though we got better and younger. Dwight powell is not good on defense and has no offensive game at this point just start Lively and hope he's a can learn on the fly if not we're lookin at another wash season unfortunately

    I think if Holmes Lively and Prosper and Hardy play good they will try to flip Maxi and THJ at the deadline

    Been trying to say that I haven’t understood why you were giving almost no thought to the possibility of Holmes being a decent short term 5 as Lively grows into the job. He lost his job because Sac was going in a different direction, not because he failed. He was a mid pack center in 20-21.

    I've been watching Holmes footage plenty, and if we wait it out, keep our 1st in our pocket, maybe get prodigal later before the trade deadline if he flops and Lively doesn't show well soon enough, all the better. In the scheme of things, our assets would be more wisely spent on an additional 2-way sf/pf with height and an emphasis on defense than on yet another 5 fail that will only be in the way when Lively comes into his own.

    Holmes has a higher ceiling. With Powell we know exactly what we are getting, a mediocre center.

    Holmes played behind Sabonis, and the Kings went to a run & gun style of play. The Kings had Fox running up & down the floor, getting shooters wide open. Plus, Sabonis owns the paint. His game just didn't match the Kings gameplan anymore.

    no i now i know who he( isaac haris ) reminds me of …. the guy on that tv show pawn stars, i cant remember his name but he used to be really fat then he lost weight , he has long hair and he used to mope around the store

    Any good minutes Richaun Holmes plays is a win. Mavs got Omax by taking on his contract, so I wouldn't expect much (Great trade even if Richaun Holmes is not a starter) . But ofc. you can be hopeful.
