The Celtics don't have 3 caliber starting centers,Al is old,Rob is always hurt and the other 2 are scrubs .This is a great move for the Celtics.

I don't know man I liked KP on the Knicks, since then he's had an injury and gain significant weight his body type has just changed and he's much much slower, too slow for my taste I don't like this. That's my first instinct, unless Chris Paul has already agreed to sign for the veteran minimum behind closed doors then this might be a decent try work Porky.
Brogdon was a great addition. I and the team will really miss his ability to carry the second unit offense and at times the first team when they decide to play like JV offense. He was a great guy of the court too and it just sucks that he had to be injury free all season and just as the end hurt his shooting arm. Miami didn't stand a chance with a healthy Brogdon (or if Herro were healthy, he's a net negative).

Trading Jaylen Brown is top priority. I watched a video of a kid with one arm yesterday and he had a better handle than Brown. Don't care much about Porzingis.

Al and Rob at the big spot is not bad, IF Rob is healthy and Al is 35 y/o. So, they need a guy like Porzingis. He'd be their 2nd or 3rd best scorer, blocks 1.5 shots a game, can shoot the 3, is a + on defensive end according to +/- ratings.
"they have 3 starting centers now" … uhmmm, not exactly: Al needs to be preserved during the regular season. He will NOT play more than 60 games at about 25 mpg. Rob will miss a ton of games and has no offensive moves besides alley oop dunks. So with these 3 guys they'll have 2 big men available on a good day.

We’ve seen in playoffs that Celtics have lacked heart, grit and mental toughness. Does Kristaps solve that? If it’s another match up with Miami or bucks, is he out working Bam or Lopez?
He also didn’t vibe with Luka. Not sure if he or Luka was the problem but can he mesh with JT &JB? Not sure if Clint Capella would be on the market or not but would’ve preferred him.
I’m pessimistic but let’s see how it plays out. 🤞
