Would you be concerned about trading a 2029 first round pick for a guard upgrade?
Definitely have to consider it, this is the best window we will have for a long time and we need to capitalize on it!
Im sort of having a hard time finding the trade that lands Colin for us. Idk.
We should trade Pat, Grayson, and our 2029 first round pick for sexton. The ONLY way I’d trade the pick tho is if it’s atleast Top-6 protected. If you have one of the three worst records in the Nba I believe the worst you can finish in the draft is basically 6th. If Giannis is gone by 2029 and we suck we can still tank to a bottom 3 record and keep our pick. Top 10 protected would be even better but I don’t see Utah taking that. I feel like it would be irresponsible for us to trade that pick unprotected because if giannis leaves we’ll basically have no effective way of developing young talent until the next decade. I’m not trading marjon until I know what his ceiling is. Should’ve thrown him into the fire last year since our older players don’t gain anything from regular season games. He could’ve really developed and gained valuable experience so he could contribute sooner. But you know bud gotta throw in the tennis players. Sexton has missed a lot of games too and he’s getting paid a good amount so we have to be mindful of that
If I'm Horst I don't trade that 2029 pick right now. I think it's better to save that ammo for next draft where we could trade our 24, 29 and 31 pick in a package for a true star to pair with Giannis for the next version of this team.

It would be risky and i dont know if the Jazz would but maybe even that first round pick for Jordan Clarkson as he is taller than Sexton and could play the 2 guard position and be a 3 and D and can create his own shot off the dribble from 3 and in the mid range, yes he is 31 but on the Bucks he wouldnt have to be the number 1 and playing with such a star studded roster it would extend almost everyones career other than Brook because he is so far out in age
