Honestly, I would love if they just upped the hell out of the production on the G-league. not like they’ll fill arenas but you can shoot it so you don’t mind too much. You could also break it down so there are more tournaments and shit throughout the season.

I like this a lot. And I wonder if we don’t see G League teams continue to get more investment. I think Simmons or Lowe or someone said that the League is interested in maybe adding a third round to the draft. And if that’s the case you’d need a minor league system with contracts and teams to make that feasibly work. Lets you take more project players and let them develop in a professional environment that isn’t taking up an NBA roster spot.
