Amen!
Order for highest ceiling is Amen, Jabari, green, alp, tari, cam. Reason Amen is 1 is because he has an elite unique skill set, physically gifted, high bbal iq, and is a potential elite 2way player.
Amen can’t be #1 when his jump shot so broke it looks like it hurts when he shoots 😭. When evaluating talent pecking order, there shouldn’t be a change in jump shot baked in. Jabari is definitely #1 if ceiling is hit because that version there is nothing he can’t do.
I honestly believe that half a season of rockets playing through sengun it's enough to prove he is at least top 2 both floor and upside wise
Can you imagine how strong Cam will become after a few seasons?
Projecting out 3 years from now:
#6 Tari Eason: Jabari and Whitmore will solidify the #3 & #4 spots leving Eson on the outside looking in.
#5 Jalen Green: will continue to struggle defensively and KPJ will take over at the #2
#4 Jabari Smith: will continue to improve and solidify his position at the #4 and will be a 2 way monster.
#3 Alperen Sengun: Allstar this season
#2 Cam Whitmore: will be starting at the #3 halfway through 2024 season. His scoring ability and hopefully his ability to be an effective defender will make Dillon Brooks and his scoring liability superfluous.
#1 Amen Thompson: will take over as starting pg when FVFs contract expires or as soon as he gets injured.
This is how I see it.
We haven't seen Amen at all and he has a higher ceiling than players with actual nba experience? According to what?

This is a really bad time to do a ranking. You are judging two rookies off summer league. You are also judging the improvement of two 2nd year players off two games in summer league. Consistency and availability are the most important factors in legitimately ranking a player. There just isn't enough information to make any kind of legitimate ranking of these six players.
