Is the Warriors’ Big 3 Exclusionary?

Willard and Dibs open the show by wondering about the nature of Golden State Warriors Big 3 of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Is there any chance that the Big 3 is somewhat exclusionary of young players? Did Jordan Peele feel excluded? Does Jonathan Kuminga currently feel excluded?

  1. This is an interesting concept to the cohesion of the Big 3. I would think the young players would not be a threat to the Warriors chemistry unless ego becomes a factor. Ego, money. minutes, social media all becomes a factor effecting the exclusion of the Big 3. As we shall soon see, chemistry is not the exclusion of just the young players but seasoned veterans battling for starting minutes all while under the discerning eye of a loyal coach and the fine line of what's best for the team

  2. I think anyone who has the potential to shine as brightly as the core will find themselves on the outside wity this core. You cannot say that Kevin Durant and Jordan Poole didn't come to help. The Warriors wouldn't have those championships without them. However they are both stars WITH bigger personalities that maybe got in the way or heck threatened the core in some way.

  3. I don't think they are exclusionary at all. They want more rings in their remaining years. They expect everyone to get on the same train that has proven to be winners. I don't blame them. They built the dynasty. Unfortunately, many players do not have that attitude. They are trying to establish their careers and get contracts. I don't blame them either, but they may not be a fit for this team right now.
