Mann video just dropped of him today working on his craft. Reminded me of this game where the Clips went to double OT and he played 18 minutes lol. Hate to bring up old wounds, but just wild stuff. Really hope Lue uses him for 30+ min a game this season. He’s a championship role player.

If he ever quietly asked to be traded I wouldn’t blame him. They need to play him serious minutes or let him go.
But can he be that efficient against the rest of the league with starter minutes?
Let’s presume he can. Now what position do we put him at? We have Russ, PG, and Kawhi at the 1,2,3. Are we going to make PG or Kawhi guard the 4 and put Mann at the 2 or 3? This puts Batum, Covington, Brown, and Morris sharing the 3/4 with Powell and Hyland on the backup backcourt. Of course it changes if we land Harden.

I can see why they are reluctant to trade him. He’s pretty much our only bargaining chip. If we trade him he becomes a star, and we end up with another SGA moment. Doesn’t look like the front office wants to make the same mistake.

PG, Kawhi, Russ, Nico and Norm got the bulk of the minutes there and they all played well. Mann could have played more but it’s not the worst example.
