  1. We used to be so wing-heavy and now we're really really guard-heavy. I hope Ayo is putting up a lot of shots this offseason

  2. His shooting needs to be above 35% from 3 this year otherwise move him

  3. Phew! I was so scared that the Bulls were going to let Ayo walk! I actually called his exact contract — 3-year / $21M. I agree with Bulls Central that Ayo's shot is broken, and I felt like he did not play to standards this past season. I am banking on him bouncing back, but he has a lot of work to do. I hope he can learn things from Javon Carter. And I will admit that Ayo doesn't seem like a starter to me, but I think he's a gonna be a solid back up, like at a level of De'Anthony Melton, Shake Milton, Bruce Brown Jr., and even Alex Caruso. I would say that the lowest I would've offered Ayo would be a 3-year / $15M, but I'm glad Ayo got a solid extension, and if he bounces back then it'll be a friendly team contract.

  4. I'm glad he's back and I'm not too worried about the tax. To me, you have 3 two-way players. Use them if you need to rather than commit more money for guys who count against the cap but won't play.

  5. As much as i like ayo i would have had him on a 2 year next year team option prove it deal and still signed wood 7 mill for ayo on this guard heavy team just dont fit well

  6. Let’s get him! That’s what I am talkin about. Legit defender and good 3 point shooting. Don’t see any difference between him and lonzo

  7. massive overpay….for no reason….overpaying for THEIR favorites instead of market value, wow

  8. After some time with AK running the show, I have not been impressed with the deals he has made.
Some good talent brought in. Some good talent given away (Markannen).
The deals do not seem to be that great.
Don't the Bulls seem to overpay a lot?
Who do they have on team friendly contracts?
    Anyone?

  9. Who cares its not my money but definitely didn't deserve it. He could get better but as of now there's not one area of his game where he's really good. He's average in every area of his game some a lil more then average but still doesn't have that 1 thing he can do that made me Wana bring him back but whatever AK gonna keep AK'ing

  10. Take a crack at Wood and sign Freeman from summer league and roster set. yes guard heavy, but it is what it is.

  11. I’m happy that we have decided to keep our young guys around like Ayo and Coby and watch them grow in a bulls uniform 🎉YES

  12. Overpay? Nah he’s shown what he can be his rookie year, he just had a
Sophomore slump. I expect him to bounce back and get better over time

  13. The recency bias here is so bad. So much ayo is terrible comments. A lot of second year players struggle after a successful rookie season. Since when are players' career defined after 2 seasons. The guy is still a good defender and understands his role. There is room for growth, lonzo once had a broken jump shot too. I do think this is an overpay, but people calling this a massive one, its 7 mil. This isnt gonna kill us of he just stagnates, but if he figures somethings out he can really be a valuable player in the NBA. Dont love the signing, but can see a path to upside here.

  14. lets sign our 8th guard to the team who degressed this year. lets not get christian wood who gives is us size and shooting. will not be watching this year

  15. I can't believe they paid him that much in a dead free agency market. To top it off, he's a restricted free agent. So even if he was to get an offer sheet from Toronto, they could have matched it if they wanted to keep Ayo.

  16. Not a fan of this deal at all, so now the Bulls are likely going to let Javon Freeman-Liberty leave after he's busted his ass to get some sort of contract from this team and they're probably going to give him the short end of the stick once again…….typical Bulls-shit.

  17. Dayum my ninja I thot dat dis brotha was gone tho dat was wat dem streets was sayin tho dayum dem streets was wrong tho we need bigs real talk my ninja

  18. Re-Signing Dosunmu and signing Bitim was partially motivated by the poor showing of Dalen Terry's summer league shooting performance.

  19. That supposed to be a Lavine chase down instead ayo came out of nowhere lol
That’s how you can tell his Just a scorer

  20. Ah yes another backup level guard. This is exactly what we need to move the needle!

  21. Pretty hefty price for a 3rd string guard.
You telling me the most expensive guy the bulls got this offseason was Ayo Doshunmu?
Not my idea of good offseason.

  22. Ayo Dosunmu is a monster…I think he is gonna be the most to make a breakthrough for the bulls…it's my opinion…I think he is gonna be better than p. Will….

  23. ayo needs to fix his shot, i think last year he was in a slump hopefully he will recover this year. I like his game allot simply cause he is one of the few people in our team that pushes the tempo on a fast break.
