  1. I was stunned when I realized the Rockets basically turned that 50 point game into an outlier instead of prioritizing that ability so that his elite scoring becomes normal.

  2. They have to trade him for a future first round pick… I like kpj but just not enough minutes for him

  3. Keep in mind the Rockets were “tanking-for-Wemby” last season so they did not care about having KPJ being in such a high percentage of pick-and-rolls and his roll partners weren’t exactly high level so that statistic is a bit misleading. Amen Thompson’s presence is certainly squeezing out the guard rotation minutes but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him included in a trade for a rim protector. I also wouldn’t be shocked if he doesn’t have a huge leap starting somewhere next to a real floor general. Imagine KPJ in Orlando with Markell Fultz feeding him kick outs along with Paulo Banchero kicking out to him??? Even in Charlotte KPJ would look great as a far improved version of Terry Rozier who could put consistent pressure on the rim.

  4. KPJ missed 1-23 vs MIN, 1-28 vs Det, 2-1 vs OKC. Outta 19 of 22 Ws KP participated n he had 6 double doubles on , 10-24 vs Utah, 11-7 vs Orl, 11-16 vs Dal, 3-5 vs Spurs, 3-13 vs Bos. Basically he avg a DD 33% of the time u win with him.

    On 11-7, 11-16 he was 2 REBS n each game away from a triple double.

    Guess how many DDs Green had outta 21 Ws he participated n cuz he missed 1-28 vs Det. A big fat 0 lol 😅😅😅 he ain't shit but a bucket. 1 time on 11-26 vs OKC Jalen was 1 Ast away from a DD thats it 1 time.

    Don't play with me KPJ way more well rounded than Green n a better playmaker with out a doubt. He contributes way more when we win than Jalen does.

  5. If u think I'm cappin look it up, 1 thing I dnt do is play bout my Houston sports teams.

    Gave yall all the dates n everything so if u think I'm cappin once look it up

  6. You make being a fan easy. You do all the work, we just need to watch and learn.

  7. Frank has exposed the "Tank Plan". I guess it worked?!? I think KPJ moves into Green's spot in the future when VanVleet's contract has matured. You move Amen to the point for VanVleet and slide KPJ up to the starting shooting guard. This will have to be done because you can't pay everybody if they are really good. In the mean time you have to showcase Fred and Jaylen to maximize their value. You also need to get that chemistry going with Amen and KPJ. Same goes for Brooks to help pay for Tari/Cam to slide into the starting 3 spot. I expect Amen and KPJ to get 20 minutes off the bench this year – almost exclusively as a duo. Same goes for Fred and Jaylen as the first team duo,(Amen and KPJ as the bench duo). However, Jaylen could throw this plan off if he comes out and plays is backside off….

  8. He really has all the tools to be the sixth man of the year with him coming off the bench and be off the ball with Amen running point and with Tari we could have a nice bench unit however it’s up to KPJ to accept that role if he does sixth man of the year candidate.

    If not well it’s a problem and his time with the rockets will be coming to a hand so yeah man we have to see if KPJ is willing to come off the bench

  9. He'll have a chance a to challenge Green for the starting 2 guard if he continues to prove to be a better playmaker, shooter and defensive player than Green

  10. KPJ is gon Shiiiiiieeeeene in Udokas schemes. In fact hes gonna be a starter.
    FVV, KPJ, BROOKS, BARI, SENGUN
    bench:
    AMEN, JG, TATE, CAM, TARI
    as needed for specific instance:
    UNCLEJEFF, JOCK

    Here me out. We have a better overall team than our championship run years in 93-95. 😮😮. Yes I said it.
    Before you say Dream i said overall.
    All we had in 9394 were
    Scott Brooks
    Kenny Smith
    Sam Cassell
    Vernon Maxwell
    Mario Elie
    Carl Herrera
    Robert Horry
    Matt Bullard
    Dream

    I dont count Jent the rookie, earl cureton, the pestruski fool, and larry robinson as they didnt really contribute almost at all. So we only had a 9 man roster to win it all.
    Follow me now.
    Kenny = FVV
    Maxwell = KPJ
    Horry = BARI
    Thorpe = BROOKS
    Dream = SENGUN
    bench
    Cassell = AMEN
    Elie = JG
    Amigo = TARI
    Bullard = JOCK
    Im not counting Scott Brooks because he did play a medium size role but he was 5 11 and just brought the ball up the court and played a little D. I havent even touched on
    TATE, CAM, or UNCLEJEFF.😮😮
    Other than Dream being a legend we have a better overall roster than that 93 94 squad. The only difference in the 95 squad was swap maxwell for drexler a HOFer. That would be like a combo of CAM and TATE. I still havent touched on JEFF, even BOBAN, CAULEYSTEIN, AUGUSTIN, AND KAMINSKY all of which can be used in niche areas like fouls, rebounds, 3pt att, or 3rd string PG.
    Bottom line: I believe this roster as currently constructed is the 5th best roster the rockets have ever put on the court. championship years was 1, 86 twin towers is 2, the 08 Yao, Tmac, scola, battier, dikembe etc. is 3, would have won a chip if they didnt get hurt. 4th would be the 2018 squad with CP, James, ariza, mbah moute, tucker etc.
    5th would be this current roster.
    6th would be Steve francis, cato, mobley, moochie, mo taylor and them.
    Also we have what I believe to be the best coach the Rockets have EVER had. It can only be argued that Rudy T could even compare.
    People have no idea how great the Rockets are gonna be this year. Its gonna be hilarious. 😂 We may have some ironing of the rough edges at the start of the season but come Jan were gonna be cruisin'.

  11. Houston must keeps KPJ. In fact, Houston must keep Sengun/Jabari/Tari/JG/KPJ/Amen/Cam….THE CORE 7. This will be future dynasty. dont make similar mistake like Thunder during KD/Harden/Westbrook/Ibraka era.

  12. Ive stuck with jalen and jabari since they got drafted and im not deviating. They still getting better , jalen body is filling out and is putting in work in the gym. Bari just scratching the surface of his potential too. Hes getting stronger, handle looks a bit better and bag is increasing. I do think Kp can be a nice 6man , instant offense type of guy.

  13. Great video. Kpj is also a young kid. He definitely needs to buy in. If so, he's going to be a killer.

  14. Great video. I said last year he was a RB forced to be a QB. But my question is, where does he fit in the lineup? Specifically the closing lineup. Maybe he’s ok being a 6th man. But if he becomes as good as you say, which I think he will, then whose spot is he taking in the closing lineup if everyone is healthy? Sengun’s? I don’t think Porter Jr will be ok on the bench at the end of games if he really has improved significantly. And his 3 pt shooting could be invaluable at the end of games. I hope the best for him. And I hope it’s here.

  15. I mean, these guys have been begging for structure. They got everything they got off talent alone last couple seasons. After the first read fails the play is busted and guys are forced to make something out of nothing. Now with an actual system, we can truly see what these guys can do. I am anticipating the first couple months of the season these guys gotta get that Silas stank off them before they take off.

  16. I see people comparing jg and kpj but the fact is this year will be jg's 3rd year and kpj's 5th year, he's supposed to be polished than jg. But if you look at both of there 1st and 2nd year stats, jg's stats are better. And jg had to deal with alot of double teams last year specially at the end of season when his scoring took a big jump. And defense wasn't a priority for neither due to steven silas coaching. I think there both going to have a break out year offensively and defensively under udoka, because he will expect it from both players. Jg will be the starting sg and kpj will be in the running for 6th man of the year. Kpj will not be traded and the rockets will have break out year with the 7 man core we got the sky is the limit.

  17. Great video and you hit it right on the nose, the rockets have a very bright future. And the rockets will be a playoff team within 2 years I think, the might surprise everyone tis year.
