Maybe what little he saw in SL changed his mind? Good news regardless. I do hope that if they go this route, they try to get a big on one of those two ways. Harry Giles would be nice.

That’s not great, IMO. The top teams in the West (Mem, LAL, Denver) have big front courts who are damn good at offensive rebounding. The Dubs also have little to no rim protection. I guess there was nobody worth adding, so why bother, but this is putting a lot on Looney, who’s an undersized C to begin with. Maybe Kuminga can fill in the rebound void but he’s be terrible at that these first few years.

Correct call. They gotta see how playable TJD is, if he sucks then they’ll turn to the buyout/trade market I’m sure. If he doesn’t suck then between Looney, Draymond, Saric, and TJD they are covered at the center spot imo.
Could use another player who can play the 4 with that 14th roster spot though.
