The CHGO Bulls crew react to a variety of anonymous comments made by Bulls executives and coaches during the team’s Summer League stretch in Las Vegas. Keith Smith published his “Summer League Notebook” on Spotrac, with notes and anonymous quotes from each team. There’s a variety of interesting quotes from Bulls sources, from thoughts on Dalen Terry’s disappointing shooting display to what is going on with restricted free agent Ayo Dosunmu. Perhaps the juiciest nugget was a comment made regarding the arrival of Jevon Carter, and what it means for Coby White. The anonymous source made it sound like a decision has been made to start Carter and keep White in his role coming off the bench. Matt, Big Dave and Will discuss whether that’s the best option. Ughhhh. Carter is a backup! The bulls will be a lottery team with no starting pg on the roster
U start the guy thats better at defense to support demar zach and vuc in starting lineup. And coby will b the first sub in most times when they stagger zach and demar throughout gms

Even if Carter starts he gonna play max 20 mins a night and Coby will close games
Honestly can’t stand pecks constant negativity and pessimistic outlook on the continuity. Any team that has won championships has had some sort of continuity. If lonzo never got hurt this team would be really good. It’s unfortunate to have lost him, and ak is doing the best to keep the team together and add more

This team is being built to win a championship in the second half of this decade, Carter starts with DeMar, LaVine and Vooch definitely makes more sense for now.
The loss of Lonzo obviously had an impact but they can't use losing a player as an excuse when for 2 trade deadlines and one offseason after that player was hurt they did nothing but add Dragic and Drummond(aka nothing)
There's no reason to feel strongly in either direction about Ayo being a Bull but I swear no fan base spends as much time talking about a fringe roster guys as Bulls fans do with Ayo. It's not "writing him off" to say that there's no spot for him on the current guard heavy roster (and that isn't even counting that we still need frontcourt help). If you're someone who believes in Terry then Ayo is AT BEST the 11th guy on the roster, if you're someone like me who believes in Phillips then that would make Ayo 12th.
I wish they would stop labeling Coby as a 6th man. Give him a chance to evolve as a player and start. Give him a chance
