Sounds like he is stable and out of the ICU which is great news. Makes you wonder about his future as an athlete though.

Prayers to Bronny, but what would cause Cardiac Arrest for a young and fit guy like him?
fredvancleef
an 18 (17?) yr old lifelong athlete suffering a heart attack is super weird.

Hoping for the best for Bronny. That’s pretty terrible to hear, can’t even imagine what LeBron and his family are going through right now.

This. Is. Fuked.
Holy shit I wish him well and hope he pulls through this mentality and physically

Awful news. Praying for him, his family and his future

Prayers up for the young fella.

This is incredibly sad. My friends cousin was 18 and playing soccer, healthy guy, and one day just dropped during a game and passed away.

Damn – I hope he has a speedy recovery. Shaq’s son Shareef was also diagnosed with a heart condition a few years back. He was a big time prospect too. He underwent heart surgery for it. It’s crazy the amount of stress athletes put on their hearts these days. You have the practices, the strength training, the media stress, diets. Etc. Back in the day they used to just practice and then play a game. Hopefully he gets better soon and maybe thinks about an alternate plan besides basketball. The pressure to live up to LeBron’s legacy will not be easy at all. Not worth it in my opinion.

Scary stuff. Good to hear he is in stable condition

I’m old enough to remember Celtics great Reggie Lewis who had Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He collapsed and died during a practice session (if my recollection is right). To suffer a cardiac arrest at 18 is very concerning.

The antivaxer idiots are already all over it.

Fuck that would make me question his entire career as an athlete. As a father I would simply end that shit and let him pursue something else in life.

I wonder if he got that vaccination!?!?
Chris_TO79
Yikes! Glad to hear he made it out of that ok. My thoughts are with the James family.
